ABOUT SAM LAW


Samantha Lawson, also known as "Sam Law," is a dynamic individual committed to creating a positive impact. In 2023, she founded YHP Cares, a service coordination company providing support for Traumatic Brain Injury and Nursing Home Transition clients under the HCBS Medicaid Waiver program on Long Island.


As the Host of the That's Sam Law Show, Sam strives to amplify the voices of Gen Z, Millennials, and those championing these generations through digital media. In addition to her hosting responsibilities, Sam is the founder of Yung Hip Professionals Inc, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to improving the lives of the rising generation in at-risk communities through networking and entrepreneurship. Armed with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from LIU, CW Post, and a Bachelor of Art in psychology from SUNY Old Westbury, Sam brings a unique perspective to her advocacy work.

 A former Chair of Diversity & Inclusion at the Melville Chamber Of Commerce, TEDx speaker, event curator, published model, marketing professional, and community advocate—Sam is a versatile individual. Her social and community advocacy focuses on diversity and inclusion, criminal justice reform, and affordable housing.


Recognized for her exceptional community service, she was honored with the "Rising Star Award" in 2020 from Suffolk County's 15th Legislative District. Additionally, Samantha is a 2024 Entrepreneur award recipient for the 65th Annual Founders Day Celebration of The Central Nassau Club and Bridges Worldwide Ministries; Black History Catalyst for Change Honoree. She remains steadfast in her mission to contribute to the development of Long Island into a fair and equitable place for all residents.
